Focus on Digital Transformation: Federal Law No. 140-FZ

WELLGO CEO Natalia Bochkova presented an in-depth analysis of Federal Law No. 140 of June 7, 2025, which fundamentally changes the rules of the game for freight forwarding and logistics suppliers.

Natalia discussed in detail the changes coming in 2026, primarily the introduction of a unified digital platform based on Blockchain Technology. This step is aimed at creating a transparent and immutable digital network uniting all transportation process participants – from sender to recipient, including carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customs.

Natalia’s presentation generated a lively discussion among forum participants. This contentious debate highlighted two key points: the critical importance of the upcoming changes and, at the same time, a certain lack of awareness on the subject, for cargo owners. A quick survey conducted at the forum confirmed that a significant percentage of the market is only just beginning to prepare for the new conditions.

Critically, the freight forwarder ceases to be simply an executor, evolving to drive innovation and becoming a change management authority for global trade.
