March 25, 2026 – The WELLGO team, together with GxP WAY experts, conducted a webinar for representatives of the pharmaceutical market of Uzbekistan. The event was dedicated to the issues of managed logistics, which is becoming a critically important factor for ensuring the quality and safety of medicines in the growing market of Uzbekistan.

What the webinar discussed: Managed logistics as a standard

During the webinar, Alexey Khilyuk, an expert from GxP WAY, presented an overview of the requirements of the Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as practical aspects of their application in international logistics. The presentation emphasized a key challenge for the industry – the lack of verifiable data on compliance with transport conditions throughout the entire supply route. This creates risks during inspections and can lead to product batch holds and reputational damage.

Additionally, it was noted that the responsibility of supply chain participants is determined not by formal incoterms, but by their ability to ensure and document compliance with temperature conditions and other critical parameters at all stages of transportation.

Anna Filippova, Director of Pharmaceutical Sector Development at WELLGO, presented participants with a systematic approach to organizing pharmaceutical cargo transportation. The main focus was on three key advantages that WELLGO provides:
  • Flexibility and Optimization – The ability to choose the optimal solution for each product batch and consolidate cargo from different suppliers to reduce logistics costs.
  • Control at all stages – Continuous temperature monitoring with the provision of transparent reporting for regulatory authorities.
  • Risk-based approach – Assessment and minimization of risks at every stage of delivery, including route validation and equipment qualification.
Using a specific example of shipping laboratory reagents from Amsterdam to Tashkent, Anna demonstrated how the consignee's control over logistics affects the cost of transportation and compliance with traceability requirements.

WELLGO builds its operations based on a Quality Management System, which includes supplier validation and scoring, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) procedures, and regular self-inspections. In November 2025, the company confirmed its status as a pharmaceutical carrier by receiving an international certificate of compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.
