The AmCham CARES program, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, aims to raise awareness of corporate social responsibility ( CSR ) among AmCham members and guests . WELLGO acted as a partner of this event, presenting its own initiatives in this area.
It is difficult to describe in one publication the scale of work that pharmaceutical companies and charitable foundations are doing to make people's lives healthier and longer. It is important to note that it is representatives of this industry who lead the trend towards disease prevention, early diagnosis and a healthy lifestyle. Many of them also launch social programs to support those who are faced with serious illnesses and need help.
Logistics is an integral part of the healthcare ecosystem, and was given special attention at the conference.
In particular, Natalya Bochkova, CEO of the WELLGO group of companies, presented our CSR projects related to cold chain logistics in the pharmaceutical sector. Natalya spoke about the importance of risk management when organizing the transportation of temperature-critical cargo to comply with GDP requirements. Examples of successful and innovative projects for the distribution of vaccines and other immunobiological drugs aroused keen interest among the audience.
